Is the TBS seat with cowl at least as comfortable as the stock seat? I'm thinking about turning my bike into a cafe racer, so of course the seat change is a must.

Personally, I find the seat/cowl firmer, a little shorter and way more comfortable.

I found the solo seat w/ cowl to be considerably more comfortable. It's flatter so I'm not constantly sliding into the tank, it's wider and not quite so spongy so I have a little more support, but it's still long enough to be able to vary your position a little bit if you need to. It's a worthwhile investment regardless, but if you're going cafe', it's mandatory. Don't even bother with the Corbins, etc.

Way more comfortable with the single seat. I have done many 5-700 mile days with it with no chronic bum/bach ache.
