Has anyone had any luck in fabricating or finding aftermarket bars for the triples? I've seen the ones from Ma's and Great Bay, but the seem a little too pricey for me. I did find one set on ebay (Twisted Spike design) but they only had a 5.5" drop from the mount, I want something lower. Also with a single mounting point how sturdy is the set up?

I've got a few ideas of my own for making them but if there are aftermarkets at a good price I'd rather go that route.

I bought (on ebay) something that purported to be highway pegs for the Legend.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

I have received them, and as far as I can tell, someone manufactured them as a one-off - they DO appear to fit the legend, and they're very well-made in terms of the machining and the threads, but the powdercoat is like a spray-on from a can - not actually a powdercoat.

They have three holes in the middle that match up to three bolts mounted on the bottom of the radiator. Then the ends of the bar have threaded sockets, which I think will take a standard Kuryakyn peg.

I suspect that maybe there's another piece required to mount them, which I may fabricate, because it seems like they'd be pretty high.

If you think it would be helpful to your fabrication, I'd be happy to take some hi-res pics and email them to you. If you get in a real bind, I suppose I could lend it to you to look at.

Brian

A pic would be great! I'll pm you my email, and if wouldn't mind I'll add it to my album for others as well.
