I lost my Triumph spark plug socket so I bought a new 18mm thin wall socket from ACE. This new socket is still tight enough to pull off of the extension down inside the valve cover so I welded it to the extension. Now it works great for the two outside plugs but it's too long to get to the middle plug.

Can someone measure their Triumph socket and let me know exactly how long it is so I can do some modifications. It will save time from relying on trial and error.

Thanks

Hi Ed,

Is it the end-to-end measurement you are after? 91mm.

Ciao,
Geoff

If you call Baxter Cycle at 712-781-2351, they'll send you one that is a great replacement for the original.

Thanks Geoff. Yes it is the end to end measurment that I was looking for.

Kem, I saw that Motion Pro has a good replacment too but they wanted $18.00 for it. How much does Baxter Cycle sell their's for ? I can make my own for around $5.00. Thanks for your response.

Ed,

I don't remember what I paid for mine, but I'm sure it was probably more than $18.00. If you can make one for $5.00 then that's the way to go.
