Here are very few Triumphs in my country.
Today I have found 99 Sprint for sale in parts. What useful I can find on it for my 99 Adventurer? I've read somewhere about rear shock absorber improvement for Adventurer by installing part from another Triumph model...

Hi,

I assume the Sprint you have seen is the 'older' styled Sprint with a 885cc engine? If so, then the 'blue' camshafts fitted can offer a performance improvement, this can also be enhanced by the Ignition box which allows a higher rev limit (although I think the sidestand wiring maybe different).

Unfortunately the rear shock is different, and I think you will see this if you look at the size of the bolt fixing holes.

Ciao,
Geoff

Thanks,

They don't give detailed information on internet. Engine described as 1000cc..
And I just noticed that front wheel is spoked.. :???:
Probably they got damaged bike and tried to replace some parts to sell it as repairable, but found it not so easy...
I think it worth to go and have a closer look.

I believe that by model year 1999 the Sprint was 955 FI model so parts interchange between that and Adventurer will be limited. But the Starter and Alternator should work. :upthumb:
