Mick,

Is Triumph doing well, I heard that the Rocket III was not doing well in the US and Triumph is struggling. I did call a dealer and they thought the company was doing well.
I heard it from a Harley dealer and it pissed me off to no end.
Have your guy's heard anything about this.

I had heard the RIII isn't selling as well as they hoped too. Not sure where I saw that or if it is even true or not. From what I understand though Triumph is still doing very well. The new Speed Triples, ST's, and 675's have been huge hits so far.

Triumph are doing really well! Massive growth in Sales numbers, multiple awards for the 675, S3 and Scrambler, amongst others. I believe the R3 hasn't sold as many in the US as thye would have liked, but interestingly, they've sold a lot more in the UK and other countries than they anticipated.

Your Harley dealer is talking out of his bottom. Harley would love to have the same percentage growth that Triumph have right now.

What I've been seeing is that the Bonnie line has been selling WAY better than our triples and it's loads cheaper to manufacture. Comparing the prices there's got to be a much larger profit on them.
