I just bought an '03 TBS with 5k on the clock. Seems like a really nice bike. I ground the pipes on my first ride up Angeles Crest which is a bit of a bummer and eventhough I have the Triumph off road pipes it's too bloody quiet!

Anyway, I'd like to dig into it but it seems the Haynes manual only goes to '99. What are you guys using? Should I splash out on the Triumph shop manual?

The only difference between the '98 - '99 TBS and the '00 and up TBS's is the exhaust system. Since this is the last year of the Thunderbird, and therefore the venerable T3 motor, I doubt there will be an updated manual. I have the Haynes manual and it has assisted me just fine with my '00 TBS.

Some people say the Triumph shop manual is worth the bucks also, but with my Haynes, I haven't felt the need to spend that kind of money.

I ended up getting the Trump service manual, I'm not so impressed and it was probably a waste of money as it covers 10 models. Maybe I should go out and by a few more bikes to justfy such an expensive manual.
