hello all.

I have a 96 thunderbird with stock everything but the exhaust. Just for ****es and giggles, I took the mufflers off and fired it up to see what it would sound like. I really liked the sound. Is there an aftermarket exhaust that is available that I could put on my bike to give it that growl? I know the purists will think I am nuts, but that thump thump was awesome!

The Triumph competition (aka off-road) pipes will give you a nice brrrraaatttt but remain within most policemen's sense of humour range. They are expensive at $220 ea. retail although sometimes you can find a pair on ebay.

D&D are well loud, and you'll find folks speak well of them on this forum.

You can also drill out the baffles on the stock pipes - there's at least one recent thread on do's and don't's.
