Was wondering if there were any grips that are better than the stock ones? I have TBS and was wanting to change them out for a set that dont hurt your hands as bad and ideas?

put some "pro-grips" on mine (w/ heated grip elements underneath). Looks & feels good. Hey, if ever in NW Ark, drop a line. Wade

I'll vote for foam grips (all are closed cell foam -they dont absorb water). They seem to keep vibrations down, and are thicker that any stock grips which I rather like.

Hey Jimmy, can you be more specific? Thanks! Any recommendations are appreciated.

Oh yeah, when will I stop wanting to buy more acessories and stuff for the Legend? I've had it almost a month...

Mary,

I can't answer the grip question (google?) but I can speculate on the latter....

My guess is two fold:

1) When you no longer own the bike

2) When you ride it's spirit threw the Pearly gates

There's always SOMEthing that can be tweaked! Just wait until you start wrenching it..thats when the addiction takes over.

goto www.denniskirk.com

in the 'GENERAL SEARCH' box, type 'gel grip'

on the next screen click on 'Pro Grip' in the 'Brand' section and you'll come up with 3 pages of listings so you can choose the color you want etc.

Be sure to measure the length of your grips before you order! (experience...)

No, I don't work for Dennis Kirk. It's just that they've got a really extensive line of products **in stock** and usually ship the same day.

They're a bit pricier than other suppliers, but I'd rather pay the extra and get the stuff than pay less and wait 'til riding season's over.

Jim

I just purchased the Beston grips off of an ebay store and I really like them. They are Gran Turismo in style and cost about 15 dollars, shipping included. Here

Thanks to all who responded with advice about grips! I am getting braver, and may be taking some longer rides, and I think gel grips would help a lot.

also a throttle rocker helps a bunch. Put one on the wifes legend . Really helped my fingers from going numb.
