What spray paint is the best match for the swingarm powdercoat? I had a little mishap with some battery acid and there are some spots on the swingarm that I want to take care of. Any ideas on color/brand? Thanks.

I have the same problem.
Just never got around to doing anything about it.
Mine is not that obvious (except to me).

I've thought about using a magic marker or something that will stain the aluminum black. It won't be an exact match but would make the blemish that much less obvious.

Here are pictures of my damage.
Is this what you are talking about?

Its black anodizing not powdercoat on the swing arm. Stan suggestion is likely the best one as you wont reproduce the finish with paint.

Stan - That's exactly what I'm talking about.

Mick - Thanks for the clarification.

I'll probably go your route first Stan. See if I can match it up with a magic marker. Thanks for the replies.

I lost a little from a braided brake hose rubbing (in fact it gouged a small groove in the swingarm). I touched it up with satin black paint, and now that it's weathered it is not even noticeable.

I painted wife's Hi-way bars with duplicolor truck bed coating (black)it is a real close match to the engine & frame as long as you just give it 1 coat.
