A friend of mine, Zac, just got taken out by a left turner and is in the hospital. They already gave him a titanium eyesocket and I'm hoping for maybe a clear window like the Ducs and Vincents had to see the cam drive gears. He had a BMW R1100S and several vintage scooters.

If you guys can throw a little aid his way, the below link also has the paypal address, info on raffles, as well as current info. I know it would be appreciated as they just had a baby and his wife is still out on maternity leave.

He had all his gear on and the report is that he's doing better.

There will be a benefit for him at the Little 5 Vortex, Thur Aug 10th so if you are local please come out for that. Don't know the specifics but there are bound to be raffles and the like.

Man, that was a close one. I've been following Zac's recovery and sounds like it's going to be a long haul. Hope he gets back to 100% soon.

Perhaps someone with moderator privelege could make the original "Atlanta Rider Down" post a sticky? We need to keep Zac on our minds and in our prayers.
