Is there some reason that I don't see fork protectors on the bikes that are sometimes posted on this site? Other than being made of plastic and not looking cool, seems like $19.00 is cheap insurance for fork protection. Any comments????

Thanks

I went for the NOJ fork protectors. They're inexpensive, washable, not very attractive and work just fine at keeping the seals and tubes clean.

I have always put gaitors on all my bikes.

Not worked out a successful solution for upside down Ohlins on me Guzzi Scura though. :???:

I would like to put the gaiters on mine but have been a little gun shy about pulling off the fork tubes.

I think when I get around to doing my fork spring upgrade I will put some on.

Anyone know if the ones from Newbonnie.com work on our bikes?

It s a piece of cake, try it you'll see. The official protectors are easier to fit as you dont have to pull the forks.

Ive got the little plastic jobbies from Triumph. Seem to do the trick. Nice and easy to fit.

Whilst my Thunderbird is with the dealers having the fork seals replaced, I have asked for gaiters to be fitted and twice have been told none are available. I seem to remember that the new Bonneville gaiters will fit. Which onces did you use?
