The symptoms I have felt sound just like others on here. Maybe I'm not going so fast because my T'bird has a sidecar on it. Still seems to crack on OK though.

I'm interested in the heatwrap, although the heat seems to be coming from the top of the engine. What is the wrap and where did you put it?

Since it's not often hot here in the UK, and if I stick my right leg out a couple of inches the problem dissapears, I guess I'll probably leave it as it is.

There's coolant flow through the engine any time it's running so you're going to feel the heat coming off the radiator whenever the thermostat is open -- which should be most of the time.

I was going to make a wiseass remark about wrapping the radiatior in aluminum foil, but I was afraid somebody would take it seriously! :-D

I can't figure out how to submit a photo but if you look in this album on page 2 you will find one photo of it. You might also be interested in some of the other Triumphs there too

We've only had it a month and have been busy sorting it out, - getting it to steer etc - so we've not got round to taking any proper photos yet.
