YES! AT LEAST I THINK SO!!!!!!!!
WHY ARE WE SHOUTING???!!!!

Just kidding man! :hihi:

At the end of the day it's a matter of taste I think...depending on how big you are,
how you like to sit etc etc. But I find it very comfy and I'm 6 foot and weigh in at
around 160 pounds.

The mere improvement in looks would have been enough for me! Super cool!

5'8" 140#s and I think its more comfortable.

but let me see if a get you, you have been avoiding the cowl because you dont like the looks, don't buy it, get a corbin or sprint seat if you dont like the looks of the solo

Its more comfortable than the stock TBird, and I woudl imagine the same of the TBS. The reason is that its wider and provides better support so spreads the pressure.

actually, i love the look of the cowl. really sets off the TBS. just wondering if it would more or less comfortable. i would imagine that question is somewhat subjective.

it seems that a guy can get away with buying somthing that looks really cool if the reason you tell the wife you spent the $300 bucks on another seat is that it is much more "comfy" than the stock....

I recently mounted the triumph solo seat on my '99 TBS and took it for a 70 mile shake-down. I found it to be significantly more comfortable than stock ( and looks great, too!)

From recent experiance I would say that the single seat is more comfortable than the stock seat but not as comfortable as the King and Queen seat.

My solution was to take the single seat to a seat specialist and have a gel insert fitted - I now have a single seat which looks good and is very comfortable for long rides.

chiming in to agree with most everyone here..

the solo seat is more comfortable than the stock. the stock is too squishy, leaving your butt numb no matter how you adjust.
the solo seat is harder, but the step at the back supports better and there's more room to move around.
I think the solo seat is far from the most perfect comfort, but a cinderblock would beat the stock seat.

I'll climb on this bandwagon and agree with everyone, the solo seat is more comfortable then the stock seat.

My skinny behind gets numb within the first 20miles of riding with the stock seat. I can go 100+ miles on the solo seat before I feel the need to stretch my legs.
