it hasnt been mentioned yet, but the best value for money always was (and still is) the Thunderbird sport. You get better suspension, 6 speed and better brakes for very little extra money.

I think I'll check to see if the legend owner has the original covers, I prefer the black engine (I'd love a sport but none for sale near me) and see what he'll work with in regards to the price. The tbird owner is asking $500 more than kbb which is in itself $700 more than NADA.... effectively making it out of my decided range to spend.
