What gloves do you guys and gals use for warm weather riding?
I have a set of Sympatex Triumph cold gloves and a pair of perforated highway gloves. I am looking for something like the Icon Pursuit. No gauntlet with knuckle/finger protection.
Any likes or dislikes out there?

I wear Joe Rockets with a plastic knuckle and only padded fingers (no plastic on fingers). There's a vent in the knuckles that lets your hands breath.

I have a pair of Icon Pursuit and really like them. Be sure to try on several pair if available. When I was shopping around I found the size varying quite a bit.

OK, so this is probably politically incorrect, but hey, I am in the tropics afterall...

It's always warm (hot) here. The only variation is how much rain we get each day (monsoon season = 4 hrs/day or normal season = 1 hr/day).

So in dry weather I actually found a short pair of leather horse-riding gloves. No gauntlet, tough leather, very comfy and easy to still turn knobs, etc.

For wet riding I have a pair of Scorpion Racing 4x4 winching gloves. They are neoprene with a tough synthetic leather palm and fingers.

OK, so they are obviously not as safe as proper motorcycle riding gloves, but I found that when I had "proper" gloves I never wore them, they were too big/too hot/looked dumb and I only put them on for "serious" rides.

But statistically, you are more likely to come off when you are just running down the street to buy a loaf of bread for the wife...

So this is better than nothing for me I guess. At least with these gloves, I put them on EVERY time I get on the bike.

That said, I just googled the "Icon Pursuit" gloves you mentioned.

Hot *****! Those are cool!

Yeah, I need to order a set of those.

My old leather gloves can go back in the tack-room.

I have a pair of Motoline gloves which have plastic knuckles on the 3rd and 4th finger but meshed vented scoops on fingers 1 and 2 and on the thumb. I once made a mistake and grabbed these in winter, and had to stop and buy some more on my journey. They scooped in air really too well but excellent in summer.

I find that thin "mechanic's gloves" work great in hot weather. They usually have additional padding on the palm and thin stretchy material that allows great manual dexterity (if you can pick up a dime off a tile floor, you've got a great pair of gloves!)

Just picked up my Icon Pursuit Black Large gloves and I've got to say they are better than I had even hoped. Already feel a season old for comfort. First pair I've had without gauntlets so the air up the sleeves is quite nice, until a bee gets up there I guess. I gotta give em an "A" thus far.
