Been browsing this site for some time and this is my first post to this group. I just got a 98 TBS. Its got the D&D Hurricane pipes, solo seat and fly screen. What a sound!!!

It's only been a week, but I just love the bike! Very different from any other machine I have owned. This is my 7th bike in this short life, and it makes me smile in a way no other has.

There was no owners manual with the bike, and although I bought the Triumph shop manual, it makes no references as to how to adjust the suspension.

I can figure out preload, but unsure about damping settings, and there doesn't seem to be any markings on the suspension to assist.

Would the factory owners manual have what I need, or can someone explain how the settings are adjusted?

The TBS Handbook is a combination of the Thunderbird/Adventurer Owners Manual and a Supplement.

I've put the supplement at Thunderbird Sport Owners Supplement
