The bike has a noticeable notch when I turn the forks with the front wheel off the ground. There isn't any freeplay so its not a case of them being loose. The notch happens when the the frost are straightened out, like I'm going straight down the road. So has anyone done this fix?

All it takes is a few potholes....

I just replaced my front bearings and it's not a difficult job if you spend the money on the correct Triumph tools.

You'll also need a 300mm piece of 10mm threaded rod and a couple of heavy nuts to pull the bearings in. McMaster carries the rod and ships same day. (www.mcmaster.com)
