What's the prefered method to get those silly stickers off the gas tank?
I think I can remember the break-in requirements without having them plastered on the paint.

Use a hairdryer to warm up the sticker, then use some citrus-based solvent (or even plain lemon juice) for the glue that's left. Two-minute job at the most. You might want to wash and polish afterwards though.....

Once they're warm w/the hair drier, work from one corner and slowly pull them up. Any residue can be easily cleaned w/WD-40! A good wax afterwards is recommended.

Enjoy the new ride!

That's funny, I picked up my 97 Tbird last year and the break-in stickers are still on the tank. . . I'm afraid some damage might occur if I try to take them off now (it's been 6-7 years!). Am I overreacting?
