So I'm still waiting on some parts I ordered about a week and a half back for my bike. I have called twice and one part (they couldn't identify) is on back order so I'm waiting for it to come in to get the shipment.

Now I KNOW I have the itch to just do "bike stuff" all the time so I might be impatient and wondered if other people have felt this way when dealing with Great Bay Motorcycles.

What's your experience? :brk:

I've not dealt with Great Bay but have read good things about them. I have order many parts through my Triumph dealer and have sometimes had to wait a month for something to show up. I try and keep some spare "expendables" around so I don't have to wait. It's silly, but I even have to special order tires and tubes so I order them about a month before I plan on doing the replacement and I keep spare tubes on hand. :-g

I have dealt with them a lot in the past - they used to be my closest dealer. They were superb and I have recommended them many times. However, most of the guys I dealt with there are no longer working there and the only contact I have had with them in recent months hasnt been quite up to par. Having said all that I am sure that you'll be fine.

I bought the owners harley and he was very nice to deal with. Good price. I would shop back there.

I ordered a highway bar online last year and never received it. I called and asked about it and they said that they thought it had already shipped. The next couple calls, they said they'd get back to me, but never did. I gave up. My credit card was never billed.

I tried again this year and received it in under a week.

Overall, even though I never received my order last year, I'd order from them again.

I'd stay on them about the status of your order.

I've also orderd from Hermy's and been very satisfied with the speed/service.

I too, have received very good customer service from Great Bay. Being a business owner myself, I know sometimes we just screw up- must be somethin about being human...
