The 1999 - 2001 Adventurers are made the same, I believe only the paint schemes are different.
When I was looking for my Adventurer, I was told by a dealer in Lynchburg that the 99, 00, and 01 models were all built in 99. Don't know for sure if thats true, but he was very upfront and seemed like he knew what he was talking about.
I do know that 98 and earlier bags will not fit the 99 and later bikes.
