Just replaced the headlamb bulb with an Osram Silver Star Xenon.

Its hard to find words to describe the difference. The Osram ones are the most highly rated by the motoring press even better than the Philips ones.

Its like having 2 headlamps instead of 1 with a much better spread of light and much better distance vision - it has to be seen to be believed !

They are completely legal in Europe and have the same 60/55W 12V power rating. The Osram ones are white not the blue type. The TB family require a single H4 bulb (3 prong combined high and low beam)

Ive put them in my Sprint ST as well same effect. Got mine from http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk/ I know that they are on for sale in a lot of places at the moment including eBay.

A big improvement !

BV,
Right you are. I really was not pleased with the headlight on my Legend. I found this at a Pepboy's in the US. Over hear they are marketed under the Sylvania brand, but if you look on the back they are Osram Sylvania.
For the record these are the Sylvania Silverstar 9003ST
on the right side of the packaging in front it indicates 12 Volts 60/55 watts.
Thanks for the tip. :-D :-D

Definitely get the white ones instead of the blue. I tried the blue once, and much of the granite gravel in these parts can "disappear" from your vision with them - kinda scary!

I'll see if these also fit my '97 Adventurer - Probably will but will check.
I was pleased with my standard light in any case so this should be even better! (My bike light is brighter than my Peugeot car headlights!!)
Good tip cheers

I replaced the 60/55 bulb with a 130/110 xenon bulb a couple years ago. With at least 40% of my riding done in the dark, I need all the light I can get. Especially out here in the country where the deer live. Oh, this bulb is not legal in Europe. It says so right on it.
