I'm thinking about eliminating the front turn signal stalks and lenses and adding a custom signal. Oval or diamond surface mount turn signals would look very nice at the bottom of my wind screen. The wires could run towards to headlight bucket and behind. As the shield is already tinted they would be very noticable. Or, I could drill a small hole in the windshield to run the wires through. What do you think?

I think it would look nice. No matter what you do make sure the signals are noticeable. I have noticed that on some bikes when blinkers were relocated they were either too close together or too small to be noticeable. I am a big fan of being seen and others knowing what direction I am turning in.....or at least giving them the opportunity to see it and ignore me .

Interesting idea, Avatar. That would certainly look rather sleek.

But personally I'd prefer sticking the turn signals on the bike itself, rather than on a removable screen. I guess if you're never going to remove your screen, then it doesn't matter too much (until you sell it, and the next owner tries removing the screen).

I think radiator-mounted turn signals would look even better, similar to the new Speed Triples.
