OK, it's really bolts I'm referring too but I'll bet I caught your
attention ;o)

When I got my bike back after my recent service I noticed they replaced the 4 hex-head bolts on my handle bar clamp with knurled bolts!?! My bars were lowered, a bit too much for my liking. When I lock the fork the clutch reservoir in only about 1/4 inch away from my tank. I'm not liking that. I assume there is a special tool to remove and install
these kind of bolts? How else would you be able to torque them down properly? ...Sheesh

I think you'll find they are Allen bolts with a little decorative chromed plastic cap. If you prise off the cap then you can use a regualr allen socket or key.
