I'm ghinking of buying a Legend or Adventurer. Is it possible to get ThunderBird Sport horsepower out of a Legend or Adventurer? Is it as simple as changing cam shaft and re-jetting carbs? Or, can the pegs on TBS be moved forward at all?

The difference in power on the later models is largely fictional -cams etc. are the same.

You can fit Stock Tbird/ Legend / Adventurer pegs etc to a TBS but it will reverse the shift pattern (1 up 5 down) unless you crack open the transmisison and change the relevant parts.

There are better reasons to buy the TBS over one of the other models - better brakes and better suspension.
