Does anyone know where I can get a chopper frame for a 2001 Thunderbird triple - I have someone who wants to make a custom frame, but I was not sure if anyone had any idea of a frame that would work or if anyone has even attempted this with any of the new Triumph triples.
Any leads would be appreciated!!

You mean a hardtail frame? I have seen a few chopped triples but they have all been in custom made frames. There is a picture of one in my photo album (page 3)

I suppose you could just replace the subframe but I dout if you would get the overall lines right by doing that.

It would be easiest to start with a stock frame. I would love to see a few more chopper triples! I don't think there's enough demand for someone to manufacture frames though...

Thanks for the feed back - I am thinking that I will have to have a custom frame built - I was trying to avoid the greater expense of doing so but suppose I will have no choice. Can anyone out there advise as to some good custom frame manufacturers?
