Click on Standard Triumph Pipes to see my TBS with the bog standard tackle and click on Predator Sports Cans to see her with predator cans fitted

I reckon the predator cans give the bike a sharper look. Wonder what the general view is? Incidentally they are excellent quality, and despite being the road legal one's do boost power a little and give a throatier sound. Grrrrrrr.

It's harder to say with a TBS. With a TB, the Predators would look out of place - like a Bristol 407 with a rear wing and cherry bombs (or Sophia Loren with a tongue stud). But the TBS has got the blacked out engine and different sidecovers - looks a bit less retro. Just IMHO.

The TBS is a retro styled bike. Those pipes aren't. They look out of place in my opinion on your bike. Who cares what we think though, if you like it go with them!

I still have my stock cans on my 2K-TBS and have been looking for some kind of replacement.

The TBS is kind of unique, it is a classic bike but can easily have a modern look with the cowl seat and fly screen. (both of which I have on my bike)

I like the look of the Predator cans but the seem just a little short in length.

Do you know if anyone has fitted an under-seat system to a TBS yet? Of course the rear fender would need to be removed or modified.

I think if you went with the single seat & cowl / no rear fender / clip-ons look, those Predators would look the DBs (even more so if they were both on one side like the '98 TBS). With the more retro 'upright' stock look, I think the standard Triumph pipes are more suited.

But really it's what you think that matters...

Well my two cents, I prefer the traditional look. I put a set of retro Norton style pipes from Epco Stainless on my bike with the single seat/cowl. Looks more Cafe cool.Next up the fender elimination. Check my album below.
The plain truth is, though, it is your bike and you should do what you like to it. The whole purpose is to make it an extension of you. What others think should not be important.

Thank y'all for honest replies. I like the new cans. I reckon they give the TBS a slightly sharper/meaner look, not to mention the better performance/sound. I don't want to change the rear end cos I like the practical worth of the rack/seat. So my baby stays the way she is! Cheers,
L

I think the stock ones look much better. The other ones look out of place.

Definitely the stock pipes. The Predators just dont do the bike justice.
