I was anxious to get an Owner's Manual when I got the '01 Tbird last summer, so I dropped $28 with the dealer for one. Forget it. It covers several models and years of triples, many of the illustrations don't relate to the particular bike you have, half of it is full of "warnings" and obvious advice you don't need, and was a big disappointment to me.
Take a little less money than that, go to motorbooks.com, and buy a Haynes Shop Manual. You'll be a lot happier. Then make a copy on the pages in the Haynes that you think would help you if you broke down on a trip and put those in a plastic bag, seal it and carry it on the bike, under the seat or in saddle bags if you buy some.
OR, send me $25 and I'll send you my Owner's Manual. It has barely been used.
Take care,
Monte
