I am missing one of the bolts that are used to mount the back rest on my 2000 Legend. Can anyone advise me on where to order this item? I do not have a Triumph dealer in the area.

Respones are greatly appreciated.

Phil

Great Bay Motorcycles wil do mail order (as will many other dealers), they have a banner ad here.

Alternatively try somewhere like mcmaster.com all you need is to identify the screw type and size and you can order them by the box.

I didn't see what I am looking for there. I believe Triumph calls it a "dome bolt" if that is any help. If anyone knows where I can order this online, please let me know.

PhilTT, the closest thing to your bolt is called a button head cap screw. I ordered a box for my Adventurer when I took off the Saddle bags. I got them in stainless from McMaster Carr. The only problem is that the head of the bolt is shorter than the Triumph screw.

Since I had 4 holes to fill, they look fine combined with the larger bolts, if you replace all 4 in your backrest, no one will ever know the difference

P.S. The stainless bolts polish up and look identical to the chrome plated original except the heads are a bit shorter.

I have ordered items from http://www.hermys.com/triumph/
and they cross many states in standard shipping in a day, and at fair shipping costs. Parts were discounted too.
