I would like to add just one small note to tridentt150v's post.
If your going to take the top nut off the top of your forks it would be wise to prop the bike under the engine and make sure everything is stable. I just have a vision of someone undoing the second nut and watching their precious bike heading to the floor :wow:
PS Mr Haynes says in his 91 to 99 manual there are twelve clicks! i don't know if it is different for the 04 TBS?
"The manual say to adjust from full closed (firmest) counting backwards"
That doesn't mean from 12 or 15. It means from fully in (hard)
(clockwise) count the number of clicks out (anticlockwise) to 4 (starting from 0), which is the standard setting for a TBS.
