Hi all. I just bought my first bike! Its a 97 thunderbird, and I think I am the happiest fellow in the world. The bike isn't here yet but should be in a few days. I am so excited that I found a place to meet and talk about these wonderful machines. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Welcome. Always room for more in the Trumpet family. Post a pic when you get your new ride. This is a good site with good members who have a lot of knowledge to help you out in a pinch.

God bless,

Monte

Another "new" to Triumph rider and RAT member! (and I'm from Michigan too Sadaddy)
Just bought a 1999 Adventurer with 6,300 miles off Ebay (during an impulsive moment!). I will be planning the 5.5 hr trip to Indiana to pick it up May 6th.
I love all the helpful hints, comments and posts here. Having fun learning and exploring the world of Triumph!

I love not being another frickin harley rider!!!

Looking forward to meeting some of you guys from around my area at the Camp/Ride in Interlochen, MI May 28-31st.

P.S. Debating on whether I wanna still keep my 1978 Yamaha XS650E... Bought it new in 1978. It's been like a trusty friend all these years. Not sure I will wanna ride it much after being on the Triumph!

Peace,
Joe

Congrats on the purchase of your T-bird. Wise choice, They are great bikes. Lots of great info here too! Hope you like to meet people because these bikes generate lots of admirers and conversation. Even non-bikers love these Hinckley classics. Ride safe my friend!

jdumas54...If you decide to sell that old Yamaha, I might be interested. I have had three over the years and maybe would like another.
