New member, just taken possession of a 2001 Legend (Deluxe), bit of a change from the last bike (GSXR 600) still, enjoying the change.

Considering changing the pipes to off road version and just looking for advice on UK suppliers and recommendations, any thoughts?

You should check out Sprint manufacturing for some alternative pipes.

A GSXR600 to a Legend is quite a difference..

Hi Jacktar,
Just joined the site but have asked exactly the same question. Some replies have led me to Norman Hyde (they have a site). Also try these fellas, http://www.sprintmanufacturing.co.uk/
They both have aftermarket pipes to fit Legends but they would be Thunderbird pipes. Triumph UK have no more stock of Legend pipes. Reading through other peoples comments, drilling is an alternative but isn't as effective as the a/m pipes. However, ther's a debate that adding the pipes could invalidate your insurance as they are not legal for the road. Others say that as they are Triumph accessories then it's not a problem.
It's confusing the hell out of me!!

Good luck,
Dringy :-g

Welcome, my British brethren. I hope you enjoy the site. Unfortunately, I can't help you with the silencer question...I'm dedicated to my stock silencers.

Cheers! :-g
