Anyone have the staintune mufflers (or system is it)?
What is the sound level compared to stock and off road versions?
Wondering if these are hard on the neighbors.

You have to remember we don't have 1000 acre building lots around these parts.

They are a bit louder than Tri's off-road set. At low revs, however, they are not anti-social. If you enter and exit your neighborhood at or under 3000, no one will hate you.

Note that the peashooter version of Staintunes have removable baffles. I have never taken mine out, so I cannot say what the effect would be.

Cheers,
RR

Where did you find your Staintune Pea Shooters?
They are not listed on their website.

I got my Staintune peashooters from motorsports-network.com, but that was back in 2002. With the discontinuation of the TB, I'm not surprised to see the peashooters disappear as well. Could be they have some left over, though.

Peashooters here as well. Highly recommended. Not much louder than stock unless you "blip" the throttle or wind it out. Very neighbor friendly unless you want to make a statement. Smaller, lighter than stock.

No rejet reaquired but you will have to adjust to a richer mixture. I let a shop do mine. I only run with the "inserts" in. Great workmanship, expensive but worth it and no longer in production
