it appears that triumphs' engineers are also comedians...whoever designed that mongoloid airbox must have near killed himself laughing thinking about idiots like myself changing out the filter.
drilled out the peasooters(11/16" welded to 1/2 ss tube is the absolute largest hole saw yer gonna get in there) richened up the carbs in put in a k&n last night.
i dont know what the actual #'s are but its got more pull now, without a doubt and it sounds absolutely perfect...nice growl without being deafening and obnoxious..roars when you really gas it!
highly recommend this mod over stock if you dont wanna drop large cake on offroads. :-D

incidentally, anybody have an opinion on whether or not the first stage chamber of the airbox can be scrapped without ill effect (or as an improvement even).?
