955 piston question
Hey everyone. Been reading through as many threads as I can find on the subject, but I'm still coming up short on a few answers. Hope some of you can help.
I'm working with a 99 Legend engine that needs a bottom end rebuild. So I figure now's a good time to start upgrading.
I've read through the deal with the liners and I think I can sort that out. I have a lathe if they do need to be turned down to fit the case. Is there a definitive answer on that BTW? I've found a set from a 595.
My other question is in regard to piston selection and compression ratios. I'm currently looking at 595 as well as a set from an 01 Sprint 955i. Does anyone know what sort of bump in compression this nets and is there anything that needs attention in order for these to work? valve clearence issues, skirt lengths, etc?
Lastly, I've been running across references to Jim Bush's 955 T-bird. Obviously, his site is no longer available. Can anyone direct me to info on his bike elsewhere?
