awhile back legendgirl seemed down in the dumps just like me with disapoinments in the quality of components going bad on her bike and have not seen or heard anything in regards to her bike so does anybody know if she through in the towel and moved on to maybe a BMW?? or something else other than triumph?? just curious because i have had some of the same problems as her but she packs on the miles more than me so things will creep up on her quicker than me and neither of us have warrantys ????

Hi, shedds:
I still have the Legend; in fact, I put 360 miles on it this weekend (we rode to Great Bay Triumph). It's running like a top, and brings a grin to my face every time I ride it.
I'm hoping my Triumph woes are behind me. I absolutely LOVE the bike, and that never changed. I did have some disappointments, but it's just a mechanical thing, and most mechanical things can be fixed. I'm hoping for a better riding year this year; the start has been great.
BTW, I turned over 17,000 miles Saturday evening. :-D

How about you Shedds, Have you decided to keep the Triumph now, and are all your problems solved?

well lets see so far so good as far as running no leaks but the bulb went out in tach and due to the very cold weather we had in newengland i had to replace 3out of 4directional lenses because of cracks so to be safe i bought 4 but other than that i,m taking it day by day and hoping i can enjoy this year, thanks for asking

I hope everyone has a safe and mechanically sound summer. (I agree with shedds this was a very cold winter in the northeast U.S.) My dealer called today to let me know that my new spedo that i had to order just came in. The original quit last fall. The odometer worked but no matter how fast I Rode I could only go 40 mph...
But $300.00 later I'll be able to go a little faster.
What a shame.

'Bout time you checked in LG, I was getting worried about you. Good to hear everything's A-OK. Maybe we'll cross paths this summer.

J98, you old dog, how you doing? If you're at the southern end of the BRP on or about June 9, we'll definitely meet up.
Anyone heard from Colin lately? We met up with him last summer, but I haven't seen him on here in a while.
