How do I lower my Thunderbird seat height?

Guest Posts: n/a	The seat height on my '97 is too high. I asked this earlier but only got a couple of responses. Can this be lowered by adjusting the mono-shock spring height under the seat or is their something more detailed that has to be done? I'm not much of a motorcycle mechanic - YET.
