Well, I'm outta here the end of month for a year in the sandbox. I guess the Legend is going to have get along with my son firing her up every week.

I'll be loitering in here though.

Legend21,

 HA! As if! You can have my wife, but keep your darned hands off my bike!

Now that I think about it, that's not a bad idea....

But, I digress.

Hey Rick, My nephew rides and was in Iraq in the first one. I don't know what you do, but he was an Army helicopter mechanic and convinced the Army to allow him to take his bike with him so he could transport parts between units. Very efficient, effective, and quick. He spent a great deal of his time there going back and forth on his bike. Just a thought...

Anyway, stay safe, God bless, and thanks to you and your family for your sacrifice.

Unfortunately, it's much more dangerous on the roads this time. I was there right after the war, and the roads were actually not as dangerous. We rode around in open soft-skinned Hummers then. Now, with all the IED's in some areas, and the sniper problem, well, I tried and my company just laughed.

Luckily, I'm going to be in Baghdad this time, and B'Dad is getting downright cushy. The biggest problem is to remember to not drink the water and don't go down Al-Kut street during the day...

Very good point. That would not be a good situation. Well, good luck and God bless. We look forward to your safe return - you and the rest of our troops.
