I'm currently trying to decide on which shock I'm going to get from Hagon, and am uncertain. I weigh about 250, and my wife weighs 120. My wife rides 2-up with me about 15-20% of the time. The standard shock is rated for 350 max. The upgraded shock is rated at 450, but adjusting it for that weight is difficult.

If I get the upgraded shock, and set it for 400 or so, will that make the ride so stiff as to be dangerous? I've only been riding for about 2 months, after 30 years bikeless.

Thanks for info. :???:
