Well, the new bars are on, and I have to say that I'm pretty pleased with myself. For those that remember my original post (or don't), my Girlfriend's TBS appeared to have Legend "low bars" installed, rather than the stock TBS bars.
As I couldn't find the exact TBS bars, I went with the next best thing...$10 Bikemaster drag Bars (in black even). Being a lazy Bastid, I just dremeled off the nubs on the controls and wrapped the bars with friction tape. So far so good. Even the Girlfriend was pleased, though the weather's been ***** and she hasn't had a chance to ride with it. I also think the black looks pretty good, though I was spectacle at first. :wink:
