Thanks Arch
I don't have time to read all that stuff. Could you just read it and give me a quick synopsis? Ta.

Every one needs to look at item 178 "Finding Neutral is a Start-up Activity".
It has a video of some poor bloke getting smashed at a traffic light....nasty!!

Wow - great site. I'm going to spend some leisure time and read every word. Thanks for the post. Also, in case anyone missed a similar post, I've purchased the book Proficient Motorcycling by David L. Hough. Fabulous book. I'd highly recommend it for anyone wanting to hone their riding skills (particularly in the safety arena.) I got it on e-bay for $15.

Thanks again for the great site.

Sue

great link...

I liked the section on braking and taper braking.
I have always believed that different situations require different braking.

Never liked that guy's stuff. It's OK as far as it goes, but always seems incomplete and seems to have that 'Gold Wing' arrogance that covers a lack of depth.

Just a personal opinion.
