Spooner,

There is no traffic in Russia.

Here try Saigon. This is where I learned how to ride before buying a bike here.

Saigon traffic

On that video the traffic is not that bad. On some street, you can not fall, it is elbow to elbow.

Look at it on the bright side, after learning to ride a Honda Dream there, I never saw much traffic here. Now you know where my nickname is from.

Well that's confirmed a recent decision of mine to never ride in a group again.

Spooner, is there any explanation for what caused it all? There seems to be a helluva lot of bikes.

I have no idea...but it's nothing unusual with stuff like this happening when big groups of bikers hit the road at high speeds...maybe not this bad but one can always count on some incidents occuring.
Other than that....what's to be expected in a country where the liscense comes in a box of corn flakes??

All one can hope is that nobody was seriously hurt...but by the looks of the pictures my guess is that a fair bunch of the riders left that bridge in an ambulance.
