My 03 TBS had the bearings in the trans blow. It has been in piaces at the dealer for ovar a month now.Always dealer maintained, using synthetic, riden very reasonably etc. I don't feel confident in a complete rebuild, and they can't seem to find a new engine. Help I need a contact preferably email address to someone at triumph that can help.

Good luck! I have never heard of a tranny problem with these bikes, other than that some folks complain of flase neutrals.

Thanks for the reply. I have emailed Peter twice with no reply and left messages on his line but with the time difference it is tough. Emailed and phoned again this morning.I WILL KEEP TRYING.
I also had false neutrals, first between 5th and 6th then randomly throughout the gears.
I just don't feel confident that the bike will be as good as new. I ride it every day as my main transport and have been without for two months now. Quite a pain.

I've only had mine a few months,and had flawless shifting for the first ~1000-1500 miles(bought it at 8500). It was due for an oil change anyhow -- shifting fixed! Hope that's the only time(s) I have these problems.
