I like the look of the single seat and cowl, used on the Tbird Sport. Will this fit on my 1998 Tbird? At present I have the king & queen seat, and want a different look.

In brief, the answer is yes, if you re-orientate/reposition the seat pawl/tang on the solo seat.
There have been lots of threads over the years on this issue. Here's one, for instance, and here's another. There are others, which you can find using the 'Search' function.
If you remove the seat catch from your subframe and move it backwards so that the flat edge of the catch lays against the flat edge of small metal panel. That is the one that is pop riveted to end of the subframe. Then just drill two holes and use the existing screws, but fit nuts to hold them.
Simple!
