Hi folks, just curious if anyone has added additional gauges or instruments to their Triumph, and if so how have they done it? I am keen on a fuel gauge (I think I may be able to find one that fits in the fuel cap...) and a temperature gauge at least, to go onto my '96 Adventurer.

If anyone knows of a thread that discussed this previously, please let me know. Or if anyone has pics of where they've put additional gauges on their bikes, I'd love to see em.

Cheers folks

Ray

it goes in the filler cap.

Anyone know where to buy this one online?

Well, judging from the post he got it from Bonneville Performance

Don't know if it fits the triples though. Looks cool!

I once bought a temp guage and a pod to mount it. It was one of those little 50mm guages intended for use in cars. I never got around to fitting it, mainly for cosmetic reasons, but it would have been useful.

I'd like a temp gauge. Seems like I'm riding my bike a fair bit harder these days, I'd like to know when its at operating temp before I give it the berries.

I looked at the website referenced above but can only find the oil pressure gauge, not the temp gauge. If anyone knows where to find the temp gauge that fits in the filler spout, please let us know.

Cheers

I don't think you will find one for an Adventurer. Those screw in gauges use a probe in place of the dipstick, as our bikes do not have a dipstick it would not work ( the clutch is in the way)
