Hi,

I read in the download tuning guide about reducing over-run "popping" by adjusting the carb mixture screws to "1 -1/2 turns". I have a '95 Thunderbird with Mikunis - which ones are the mixture screws?

You'll find that it's a real pain to get to these without dismounting the carbs. I finally got my self an angled gear driver to get to the middle one. It's possible to reach if you've got small hands, though.

Oh, and I don't know about the Mikuni's, but on the Keihins I found that I had to turn the screws almost three turns out. Downside is a bit rough at take-offs, but idling is better, and pop/fart reduced considerably. It won't disappear totally.

Oh, and I have drilled out my stock silencers. Quite a bit more than the usual drill procedure I might add.
