Sorry no Glazed Donuts here.
For past two days, after the bike has been ridden for more than 10 minutes(well warmed up) and during Clutch in throttle back/off shifting at 4000 RPM, I have been noticing that the engine is briefly gaining RPMs, holding them instead of immediately tapering off. If I shift 3K or 5K RPM the problem does not manifest itself. Currently it's just an annoyance but I am concerned It may get worse.
Throttle linkage appears to operate smoothly with out binding. It been Hot 95f and humid ~60% not sure if this affects things. There is less than 15K miles on the clock and the bike is stock. Otherwise it is running fine.
I was thinking perhaps one of the slides was getting a sticky spot at 4K RPM, where I like to cruise or perhaps a dirty air filter letting her run rich.
