Here are the photos of the new bar. It's not mounted yet, that will have to be a project for next week. I have it side-by-side with the old one so you can see the difference:
From the front, you can see how much lower the new bar is:
From the back, you can see how much "flatter" (i.e. less curved towards the back) it is:
The bars were made by a company called BikeMaster, and this particular model is the "European" style. They also have clubman and drag bars, for those who are so inclined.
Oh yeah, the cost was $19.95. Considering that the "Triumph Low Bar" costs $139.95, I figured that for the $120 difference I could drill a couple of holes!

I like the shape of those, similar to flat track bars.
Back in the 70's Bike mag' built a flat tracker and recently classic motorcycle mechanics rebuilt an ex Kenny Roberts Trackmaster / Yamaha. Without trying to be unkind, the one thing that spoiled both bikes appearance was not having the correct shape bar. I remember seeing them advertised in Cycle magazine some years ago, the 'Gene Romero' flat track bar by Hap Jones.

Nice looking handebar. Are you gonna re-use the stock mirrors, or go with bar-end ones?

They look really good. I am thinking about replacing the stock bars on my TBS. I think saving 100 bucks and drilling some holes is in my future too . Please let us know where you got them.

I purchased the bars at a local MC accessory shop in Denver called Performance Cycle, but I'll bet if you did a google search on Bikemaster you could find them at an online dealer (maybe Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse, which I have always had very good experiences with in the past.)
Performance is a great place. So far this year, I've bought a helmet, four jackets (two for me, two as wedding gifts for my brother and his wife), riding pants, all of my oil (though not my filters, which I get at NAPA), and all kinds of other miscellaneous bike stuff at Performance. They only opened a few years ago, but it's nice to have a place where I can get stuff that I otherwise would have had to mail order. It's a bit unusual (at least in Denver) because it is not actually a motorcycle shop, i.e they don't sell bikes and they don't do service. But it's a large "superstore" with all kinds of accessories, parts, clothing, etc. They have the best prices on clothing and helmets, too, especially compared to the MC dealers (and around here, most of the dealers have a pretty limited supply of gear.) For anyone in the Denver Metro area I highly recommend Performance Motorcycling.

I'll stick with the stock ones if I can. I actually like the look of the bike stock, but those handlebars were uncomfortable on long trips, and I figured for $20 I can't go wrong!

It's gonna look nice! Do the new bars have the threaded insert dammits for the endcap bolts?

No, they don't, but since I'm going to new grips, as well, that doesn't matter. I think if I'd gotten the Triumph bar it would have had the holes, proper inserts, etc. But still, for $140 it just wasn't worth it.
