I tried to buy the guards from Ma's and have heard they are very good and do protect the infamous shifter shaft problem with these bikes.Unfortunately mas told me they were having problems with the company that was making them and they told me they did not know when they would be available again, maybe weeks or months.I ended up buying the Hepco becker and am very sorry I did ,they look great nice chrome and all but are useless as far as protecting anything (esp shifter shaft) they made them where the taper in on the bottom too much and offer no protection for engine cases as well. They do protect the cylinders though, but normally I think the engine side will hit the ground before the cylinder.Save yr money on these!! Maybe if enough of us bug mas cycle they will start making them again. :hammer:
