Has anyone tried one of the stick-on electromagnetic devices to trigger the inductive loops at intersections so the light "knows" a vehicle is present, such as the "Signal Sorcerer" (www.signalsorcerer.com)? I confess to having had to put the kickstand down more than once, and walk over to the crosswalk to push the button to get the d@mn light to change. Just wondering if they work or if it's snake oil. I'm talking about the legal kind that increases the aparent ferromagnetic "footprint" of the bike, not the ones that firetrucks & ambulances use to change lights via radio.

BTW, I decided on the '04 TBS, hope to pick her up this week, she's a sweet ride, 1750 miles on the odo & nearly spotless :-D

Congrats on the TBS, donco.

I have a Green Light Trigger strapped to my center stand. It's been working great the past two years or so. :-D

I have not tried one of these devices. And I know what you are going through. I have set at turn lights for several light changes because the turn lane didn't pick up my bike. And waiting for a car to come up behind you to trip it just doesn't work at 3am.

Thankfully here in Tenn. they just passed a law that allows motocycle riders to proceed with caution through a red light that does not change for them. There are several turn lanes/lights I know of here in Memphis that I know will not change for a motorcycle, so I always look around and just go through the light after stopping and sitting for a minute.

I'll be watching this thread to see the comments on this device.

Check the "twin talks" section concerning this same thread. There's been quite a few responses already.
