Just had the annual M.O.T done last week and it failed!!!!!
For those of you from across the water, this is a requirement once the bike/car is over 3 years old, checks lights /brakes etc and other things such as suspension mounts for wear.
When the tester checked for wear in the rear suspension the bottom linkage pivots were wobbling all over the place. Now this movement in the pivots is not visible when the weight of the bike is on it nor when the centre stand is used, it only seams to be visible when the weight is transferred from wheels to stand.
Has anybody else had these linkage bearings go? The bike has only done 14500 miles and I made sure that these grease nipples worked over the winter maintenance period.
